This limited-edition single malt celebrates Ardbeg Day 2023, crafted by Dr Bill Lumsden who removed the copper purifier to unleash heavy vapours. The nose delivers rich peat smoke, citrus peels and menthol. The palate opens with smoky chocolate and gravel, developing into lime, liquorice and brown sugar. Pine needles and roasted coffee emerge with time. The finish begins sweet with banana and chocolate, rounding off with coffee, tar and gravel. Read more
