Longmorn Glenlivet 1956 Gordon & Macphail

A 1956 Scotch whisky from Longmorn. This bottling was released by Gordon & Macphail and is a fine example of the Speyside distillery. The bottling strength of this whisky is 40% which is at the lower end of the scale for whiskies. Although these days many consumers are pushing for producers to bottle closer to 43% or 46% there are still some fine lower strength whiskies. Read more
