Doorly's is a Barbadian rum whose name dates back to Martin Doorly, an important early figure in Barbadian rum, and the brand remains recognisable for its macaw labels as well as its connection to one of the Caribbean's most respected rum-making families.
Today Doorly's is owned by R.L. Seale & Co., the family company behind Foursquare, R.L. Seale's and the Foursquare Exceptional Cask Selection. It is generally positioned as a more accessible, everyday face of Foursquare production, offering Barbadian rum with strong credentials but without the scarcity or intensity of the distillery's limited cask-strength releases.
The range includes white and golden rums, age-stated expressions and the well-known Doorly's XO, a blend of pot and column still rums finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The style is balanced and approachable, with notes of vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, tropical fruit, spice and gentle oak, while older bottlings add more dried fruit, polish and cask depth.
